Nikol Bóková is a pianist, composer, and publisher. Spanning a wide range of artistic fields and genres, she has released eight original albums over six years, receiving favorable reviews and numerous awards, including the Anděl Award from the Czech Music Academy. In 2022, she co-founded the Soleil et Pluie (Sun and Rain) label with her husband, Jan Bók Vala, which has already released seven music titles. Nikol actively performs her original music as well as classical repertoire, collaborates with leading Czech orchestras, composes music for exceptional classical musicians, and appears with her ensembles (Solo, Trio, Quartet, Quintet) on stages for a diverse audiences.

Nikol Bóková Trio has become a powerful element of Nikol’s compositional expression. This dynamic trio, featuring double bassist Martin Kocián and drummer Michał Wierzgoń, is a unique formation that is gaining increasing attention. From compositional originality to the exceptional interpretive abilities and synergy between the musicians, this trio reaches out to listeners across genres.
