11th edition of the JAZZtrzębie Festival – unconventional music and new spaces.
Once again in April, Jastrzębie-Zdrój and the surrounding area will resound with jazz. The new decade of the JAZZtrzębie festival will open with a concert at the Silesian Planetarium on April 6, and will continue with events between April 25 and 30, with a finale on the International Jazz Day. Not only will we hear very different faces of jazz music, it will also be an opportunity to get to know new places that have not been visited by the festival before.
The JAZZtrzębie festival is, of course, music whose common denominator is jazz and improvisation. In line with contemporary trends on the international scene, these sounds are open to the influence of other genres, eclectic, without limitations, but always connected by improvisation. However, the festival is not only about the music itself, but about listening to it and enjoying it in various, often new spaces. This was also the goal of the artistic director and guitarist, Przemysław Strączek.
